Refreshing Summer Cocktails

Looking for the perfect adult beverage for your summertime pool party, beach day or barbeque? Look no further! These tasty summer drinks will keep your guests feeling refreshed and in the partying spirit!

Tequila Limeade

  • 12 oz can frozen limeade concentrate
  • 12 oz tequila
  • 3 bottles of Dos Equis or Corona beer, 12 oz

Mix all ingredients in a large pitcher and stir gently. Pour over crushed ice in a tall glass and garnish with a lime wedge.

Blue Hawaii

  • 1.5 oz white rum
  • 1 oz Blue Curacao
  • 0.5 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz coconut cream

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass over ice and shake well. Strain into highball glass over crushed ice. Top with whipping cream and garnish with sliced strawberry. (townandcountrymag.com)

Watermelon Slushy

  • 12 oz watermelon juice frozen into cubes
  • 4 oz vodka
  • 2 oz Aperol
  • 2 oz fino sherry
  • ¼ oz lemon juice
  • 2 T agave

Place all ingredients into a blender and pulse blend, adding crushed ice until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish with a thin slice of watermelon. Add black and white sesame seeds for a bit of flair. (foodandwine.com)

Blue Crush Margarita

  • 2 limes sliced into wedges
  • Coarse salt
  • ¼ cup Blue Curacao
  • 3 oz tequila
  • 3 oz triple sec
  • 1/3 cup lime juice
  • 1 can seltzer

Combine liquid ingredients in mixing glass and stir. Add ice to two tall glasses and coat rims with lime juice and salt. Pour cocktail into glasses, topping with a splash of seltzer. Garnish with a lime wedge. (delish.com)

Summer Sangria

  • 1 bottle Moscato wine
  • ½ cup brandy
  • 1 thinly sliced lime
  • 2 cups cubed watermelon
  • 2 cups cubed pineapple
  • 1 bottle lemon-lime soda

Pour wine and brandy into a large pitcher and stir, then add some of the sliced lime, watermelon and pineapple. Refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving. Place ice cubes and additional fruit slices into glasses and pour sangria over top to serve, adding a splash of soda to each glass. (whattheforkfoodblog.com)
