Keller Williams The Woodlands and Magnolia announces Team Leader Leigh Martin
Timely addition brings an unprecedented blend of real estate business and life experience.
Leigh Martin, the newest member of the KW Woodlands & Magnolia management team, first considered a career in real estate while recovering from a life-altering accident. “I took online classes while learning to walk again” states Martin, “I had always been infatuated with real estate and used the downtime to start a new chapter in my life.”
Since that pivotal decision, Leigh has realized levels of success that many entering the industry venture to achieve. His career to-date has given him an understanding of what it takes to build a 30 million dollar production team from the ground up, invaluable information for an individual now positioned to pour into the lives of hundreds of Keller Williams agents. Given the current situation facing realtors and the world economy at large, Martin’s lessons in adversity are now his biggest strengths.
“I began my career in January of 2009, so recession is a word I’m familiar with.” Leigh says “I had my best year ever as an agent when oil was at $25 a barrel during the 2015-2016 market.”
When asked about the most vital keys to his success Leigh mentions “mentors and leaders” more often than any other contributing factor. “Anything I’ve learned or achieved stems from someone who was willing to spend time with me. That’s why I said yes to joining this market center as Team Leader. It gives me an opportunity to join the ranks of leaders like Bruce Kink, our Market Center Operating Principal who has 2 decades of experience, and Gary Keller, arguably the most influential leader in the real estate industry. It’s a chance to lock arms with world-class mentors and help guide our agents and clients through this challenging time.”
In addition to the opportunity to pay-forward the mentoring received throughout his career Martin notes that the technology and training platforms developed by Keller Williams sealed the deal on his recent career move. KW Command, a system that utilizes artificial intelligence amidst data from hundreds of thousands of agents and millions of transactions is set to give KW agents and clients tools never seen before in the industry. “I’ve worked for, and researched the competition, and when it comes to the tech piece of the real estate transaction I’ve never seen anything like KW Command,” says Leigh. “KW agents are in the right place at a very crucial time.”
Quite possibly the only thing Leigh Martin is more excited about than the technology and mentoring opportunities is the over-arching philosophy of Keller Williams. God, Family, and Business. “I’ve had a life that’s had challenges, but also the people that God sent to help me not just get through the challenges, but to thrive on the other side. It’s an honor to have the opportunity to be involved in the lives of the people at Keller Williams The Woodlands and Magnolia.”
